A few small patches of this neat looking clover were found running around in dried up depressions on Berney marshes, amongst abundant Slender Trefoil Lotus tenuis and Hairy Buttercup Ranunculus sardous. This clover appears to run around as it roots at the nodes, meaning that it can be confused with White Clover Trifolium repens, when it does not bear its delighful strawberry like fruits.
