
Two typical plants were found growing alongside the railway track on the Norfolk Flora Group outing to survey the Mid-Norfolk Railway.
Slender plants of Small Toadflax Chaenorhinum minus were hiding in the short vegetation growing along the edge of the railway cutting, whereas Sticky groundsel Senecio viscosus was a bit bolder and got closer to the track in the sparsely vegetated ballast.
