We were surprised to find Long-stalked Crane's-bill growing on a grassy roadside bank near Worstead. We found a good number of plants along a stretch of about 2m, growing with Soft Brome Bromus hordeaceus and Yellow Toadflax Linaria vulgare. Our attention was drawn to the deeply cut-leaves looking rather like small Cut-leaved Crane's-bill Geranium dissectum, however on closer inspection we could see that the petioles were covered in appressed hairs. We were delighted to find a few flowers, which had almost entire petals and a long stalk, so confirming the identification.
