Suki Pryce spotted Bolboschoenus maritimus Sea Club-rush on the Overstrand sea front, growing with other interesting species such as Atriplex portulacoides Sea-purslane and Triglochin maritimum Sea Arrowgrass, none of which have been seen there before. They are growing on the land side of the promenade, near the retaining concrete wall, where there is seepage from the soft cliffs above, and well within range of seawater spray.
