25 plants were found in flower during a 3 hr walk from Holme to Thornham and back following the Norfolk Coastal path. Sea Spurge Euphorbia paralias, Wild Parship Pastinaca sativa, Common Stork's-bill Erodium cicutarium and Thrift Armeria maritima were found in the sand dunes, none of the plants in the salt marsh were flowering. Some of the most commonly flowering species found during the BSBI New Year Plant Hunt were also seen here, notably White Dead-nettle Lamium album, Annual Meadow-grass Poa annua and Groundsel Senecio vulgaris.
